Weather is an integral part of Breaking Point gameplay. Varying weather conditions demand varying tactics and strategies to be used.

Each server cycle, a random weather preset is picked from a predefined set of weather states, and used throughout that server session. Possible states of weather include sunny, overcast, foggy, raining, storm, and others. Each state has a number of variants to it, resulting in subtle differences between server sessions.

Clear or obscuring weather prohibits or allows players from using certain tactics and approaches to their current or planned situation.
