Breaking Point is a Zombie Survival Mod, focusing on PVP with some PVE elements, based on the ARMA III Engine.

The mod has been in development since August 2013 and is currently in the Public Alpha Testing stage.

Breaking Point features a range of modern and historic realistic weapon and ammunition types, and a range of medical gear and items that have all been customised for Breaking Point.

The mod also includes persistent vehicles and server events such as helicrashes and supply drops, and many unique gameplay mechanics such as a character class system known as factions, and construction of various persistent objects including safehouses known as havens. Many of the already immersive features of Arma 3 such as vehicle repairing have been customized for unforgiving post-apocalyptic experience.

Breaking Point is hosted on approximately 30 in-house servers all over the world and across multiple timezones, and includes server features such as Anti Ghosting System and a Anti Combat Logging System.

The servers are protected from most hackers and cheaters through player whitelisting that is done by linking the player's Steam account to the The Zombie Infection forum account, which is necessary in order to play the mod.

The mod is installed and updated with the dedicated Breaking Point client which is also integrated with the forum, allowing the client to display the player stats including zombie kills, player kills, faction points, as well as provide access to other features like global IRC chat and legion interface.

Breaking Point is known to be very hard and brutal, you will die a lot, in many different ways and your gear as we say "is only on loan, it belongs to the server" so don't get too attached to it.
